About Richard Regal
A Chartered Accountant by training and inclination, I am also a non-practising barrister. I am currently the accounting manager at FutureGen Capital. We are a bit like an investment bank except that we bail out governments rather than the other way round. Before that I was a Technical Manager at IFAC (or to give it its full name, The International Federation of Accountants). Basically I spent most of my time making sure that there were rules that cover the way accountants are meant to behave and auditors are meant to audit. When not working, my hobbies include flying, photography and computing.
